The Golden Knights are going to continue showing hockey reruns while the NHL remains paused due to the coronavirus. AT&T SportsNet will continue showing games as part of their VGK Classic Re-Airs until May 6.
AT&T SportsNet announced today, April 6, that the network will continue airing Golden Knights games, VGK Classic Re-Airs, through April 15. The network's updated slate of games will begin on Tuesday, April 7 and the broadcasts will air in their entirety. All of the VGK Classic Re-Airs will be televised on AT&T SportsNet in Las Vegas and will be available on DIRECTV channel 684, DISH channel 414, Cox channels 313 (SD) and 1313 (HD) and CenturyLink channels 760 (SD) and 1760 (HD).
AT&T SportsNet-Rocky Mountain announced on March 18, that the network will begin airing VGK Replay starting tonight at 7 p.m. PT. Sixteen instant classic Vegas Golden Knights games from the organization's first two seasons will be featured through April 2, 2020. Fans can engage with the Golden Knights on social media, using the hashtag #VGKReplay during the broadcasts.
It would be shocking if NHL Seattle didn’t make a play for Gallant this summer, well ahead of its time frame for landing a coach by spring 2021. In recent months, senior NHL Seattle officials had confided the future coach could be somebody like Gallant was prior to Vegas taking him on.
“I was quite surprised actually when it happened,” Gerard Gallant said on Saturday night. “You don’t see something coming like that when you have 2 ½ years in. But I’m not going to worry about the past. I’m going to look at the future and that’s what you have to do as a coach.”
Gerard Gallant was fired as coach of the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday and replaced by Peter DeBoer. "In order for our team to reach its full potential, we determined a coaching change was necessary," Golden Knights general manager Kelly McCrimmon said. "Our team is capable of more than we have demonstrated this season.
